Service Description
Roofing Quote Audit provides independent, informational second-opinion reviews of roofing contractor estimates. Homeowners may upload quotes, photos, and related project documents, and we provide a written assessment that may include:
• Observations about scope clarity
• Pricing considerations
• Potential red flags
• Questions a homeowner may wish to ask a contractor
We are not a roofing contractor, engineer, public adjuster, insurer, law firm, or construction manager. We do not perform on-site inspections, guarantee outcomes, or provide legal, financial, insurance, or engineering advice.
Our reports are decision-support tools only. They do not guarantee savings, contractor cooperation, workmanship quality, or project results.
Eligibility and User Information
Orders, Payments, and Billing
All orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase. Prices are listed on our website and may change at any time. By submitting payment information, you authorize us, and our payment processor, to charge the applicable fees.
Taxes and other charges may apply where required by law.
Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds are available only if you cancel before we begin work on your report. Once our review has started, all sales are final.
To request a cancellation or refund, email support@roofingquoteaudit.com as soon as possible after purchase. If we have not started the review, we may issue a refund. If the review has already begun, no refund will be issued.
Turnaround and Delivery Expectations
We aim to deliver completed reviews within one business day after receiving all required materials. This timeframe is an estimate, not a guarantee. Delays may occur if:
• Submitted materials are incomplete or unclear
• Additional clarification is needed
• Volume or operational constraints arise
Delivery is considered complete when we send the review to the email address you provided.
Customer Materials and Submission Rights
You retain ownership of the roofing quotes, photos, and documents you upload. By submitting them, you grant Roofing Quote Audit a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, review, and process those materials solely for the purpose of providing the purchased service.
You are responsible for ensuring that:
• You have the right to share the materials
• The materials are accurate, complete, and legible
• No confidential or sensitive information is included unless necessary
Our analysis depends entirely on the materials you provide. We are not responsible for incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or missing information.
Review Process
Our review is based solely on the documents and information you submit. We do not visit the property, verify contractor claims, or identify hidden damage. We cannot guarantee that all local pricing, code requirements, or site-specific conditions will be captured.
As part of our service operations, we may use internal review tools, workflow systems, and other supporting processes to help organize submissions, prepare materials, and deliver the service efficiently.
You remain fully responsible for contractor selection, negotiations, approvals, and all project decisions.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
• We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the review
• We do not guarantee that a contractor will revise a quote, agree with our observations, or change pricing
• We do not guarantee detection of hidden damage, code issues, or future project risks
• We do not guarantee any financial outcome, cost savings, or project performance
Nothing in the report should be interpreted as legal, engineering, insurance, or professional construction advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roofing Quote Audit and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for:
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Any decisions you make based on the review
• Contractor performance, pricing, workmanship, or conduct
• Property damage, project delays, or financial losses
Our total liability for any claim arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid for that specific review.
Some states do not allow certain limitations. In those cases, the limitation applies to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Intellectual Property and Permitted Use of Reports
All review reports, templates, formats, and related materials created by Roofing Quote Audit are our intellectual property. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the delivered report for your own household decision-making.
You may not:
• Resell, publish, or distribute the report
• Use it for commercial purposes
• Represent it as professional engineering, legal, or insurance advice
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
• Use the service for unlawful purposes
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent materials
• Attempt to reverse engineer or misuse our systems
• Interfere with website functionality or security
• Use the report to claim professional certification or regulatory compliance
Privacy Policy
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will first be addressed through informal negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be handled exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
